I heard Bush when he said "I hear the voices" (of dissent). Col. Ann Wright, Dissent: Voices of Conscience

Colonel (Ret.) Ann Wright served 13 years in the U.S. Army and 16 years in the Foreign Service. She has served as U.S. Deputy Ambassador in numerous countries around the world. On the eve of the U.S. invasion of Iraq she resigned in protest, stating that without the authorization of the UN Security Council, the invasion of a Muslim, Arab, oil-rich country would be a disaster. She remains actively involved in the peace movement. At this event, Col. Author of Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, in this part John discusses the reasons and background for why we are at war in the Middle East. He explains: “Instead of an empire, what we have today is a corporatocracy. This is a fairly small group of (mostly) men who run our biggest corporations. They run our government and practically every other significant government in the world.
