| Noted author and journalist Robert Scheer describes out-of-control military spending in his new book “The Pornography of Power – How Defense Hawks Hijacked 9/11 and Weakened America.” He details how congress people and lobbyists push for weapons systems the military does not want, such as a 300 billion dollar program for F22 jet fighters or two new 2.5 billion dollar submarines per year to take on a terrorists enemy who attached us using $3 box cutters and lives in desert caves without a dinghy or a row boat - while the cost of these two submarines could insure the 4 million children who don’t currently have health care.
